Review: Tsukiatte Agetemo Ii Kana live-action drama, Episodes 1-3

Matt Marcus reviews the first three episodes of the Tsukiatte Agetemo Ii Kana live-action drama, an 8-episode, 23-minute adaptation of Tamifull's manga about two college students in a light music club. He credits episode 1 with making Saeko and Miwa's awkwardness palpable, but says episode 3's summer club retreat arc cuts the character Kan entirely, reducing Miwa to an object of Saeko's jealousy, and that sex remains off screen. The series airs in Japan on MBS, TV Kanagawa, Chiba TV, TeleTama, Tochigi TV and Gunma Television, streams via TVer and FOD, and is available overseas on GagaOoLaLa.
