Netflix's The Body, a sapphic teen horror series about a ritual gone wrong, arrives next month

Netflix's The Body, a sapphic teen horror series about a ritual gone wrong, is coming to the platform next month. Writer and creator Quinn Shephard, who began writing the show the year she came out, says it satirizes the trauma of growing up queer and repressed. The series features lesbian reality star Gabby Windey in a recurring role as a coach, and almost all episodes have women listed as writers.
