Mariannette Miller-Meeks’ anti-trans attacks by focusing on Miller-Meeks’ record, including what Bohannan calls $4 million in special interest donations. Bohannan, who ran track in high school, does not retreat from her position on equality for transgender Iowans, and trans journalist Erin Reed praised the approach as one more Democrats are beginning to take.
