Chick-fil-A CEO Andrew Cathy Dodges LGBTQ+ Stance Questions on NBC's Today After Boycott Anger

Chick-fil-A CEO Andrew Cathy sidestepped questions on NBC's Today about the chain's history of funding organisations opposed to LGBTQ+ equality, saying only that the company is "focused on serving everybody." He did not address whether Chick-fil-A's position on LGBTQ+ equality had changed, and presenter Craig Melvin pushed back on the answer. In March, campaigner Peter Tatchell led a protest outside Chick-fil-A's first London restaurant in Kingston upon Thames.
