WNBA tells GOP lawmakers that Enes Kanter Freedom and Royce White are both men and ineligible

WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert told Indiana House Rep. Marlin Stutzman in an October 16 letter that only women are eligible to play in the league and that Enes Kanter Freedom and Royce White are both men. The league had already deemed both former NBA players ineligible in August after they declared their intent to enter the draft, and Engelbert said the WNBA will keep working to address hate and vitriol directed at its players online.
