Chappell Roan wrote a queer verse for Olivia Rodrigo's 'expectations' remix

Chappell Roan told Apple Music's Zane Lowe that she wrote a queer verse for Olivia Rodrigo's remix of 'expectations' and appears in its music video, which has a retro 80's game show theme and features David Byrne as host Johnny Johnson. Roan said the verse, about being stood up by a girl, was made up, and Rodrigo recalled telling Roan in the studio about things boys had done to her, prompting Roan to say she should start dating girls.
