Iowa Democrat Christina Bohannan’s new ad counters anti-trans attacks without abandoning transgender Iowans
Iowa Democrat’s new ad takes on anti-trans attacks without throwing transgender people under the bus
AI summary
Iowa Democratic congressional candidate Christina Bohannan released a digital ad answering Republican Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks’ attacks over transgender sports, focusing instead on Miller-Meeks’ record and what Bohannan calls $4 million in special interest donations. A separate version of the ad, published by trans journalist Erin Reed on Erin in the Morning, more directly addresses transgender participation in sports. Bohannan does not retreat from her position on equality for transgender Iowans.
