Amber Glenn on Dancing with the Stars, Queer Representation and Chasing the Mirrorball

Out100 honoree Amber Glenn, the first out queer woman to win a U.S. figure skating title in 2024 and an Olympic gold medalist this year, is competing for the Mirrorball Trophy on Dancing with the Stars. In week six of the dance competition, she tells Them her viral week 2 tango was inspired by the gay hockey romance Heated Rivalry. Glenn says representing queer people on the ice and on the dance floor is a responsibility and a duty.
